Booking Policies
The Fine Print
What is your deposit and cancellation policy?
A 15% deposit is required via credit card to secure your date. If you need to cancel or rebook, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 7 days of departure for the 28′ Northwest, or within 3 days for the 24′ River Hawk and 22′ Boston Whaler, will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Weather-related cancellations decided by the Captain will be rebooked or fully refunded.
A 2.5% credit card processing fee applies to all payments made by credit card.
What happens in the event of bad weather?
Can you accommodate groups larger than 6?
Yes! Our fleet can easily accommodate groups of up to 18 guests. We regularly coordinate multi-boat charters so your entire party can fish side-by-side on the same grounds, making it perfect for corporate retreats, bachelor parties, or large family reunions.

I took my family (wife, mom, and both adult brothers) on a family road trip vacation from Oregon to Victoria B.C. and fished with KingTide Charters. We had Shane as our guide and he was absolutely incredible!! Walking down the private dock to the boat was pretty sweet!! Shane was very knowledgeable, fun to chat with, knew the waters and his way around the boat for sure. He was very attentive to my mom who has some mild mobility issues, he made sure that my mom was comfortable, helped her out before any of her three sons could and made the whole process very simple. I'm super thankful for Shane and KingTide Charters for taking us out on an awesome adventure!! Everyone on the boat got to reel in a salmon or two and we even took a crab each back to the air bnb for dinner!! 10 out of 10 would recommend KingTide Charters to anyone wanting to go catch some fish out of Sooke!!
Great day of fishing with Captain Cedric (spelling?) he had us on fish immediately and worked his arse off releasing and re-rigging. I highly recommend this company and Capt. Cedric. The guides of course have no control over the fishing, however this young gentleman not only knows what he’s doing but knows where to go. I’m looking forward to next year and my next fishing adventure with King Tide Fishing Charters!!
